We spent Boxing Day at Accy Stanley – Freddie’s team. The game at the Wham Stadium was against Barnsley who are managed by an ex claret, Michael Duff. The score was a 1-1 draw and despite really heavy hailstone at half time when we did our run, the crowds from both teams cheered us round. We raised over £1400 for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital from the very generous fans.
