The 3rd run of the weekend was at Adams Park for Wycombe Wanderers vs Portsmouth. We loved this ground and everyone was so friendly as we ran our lap at half time. Everyone cheered us all the way round and the Portsmouth fans gave us a really good reception aswell. Even the staff in the chippy van outside gave us some chips after our run to warm us up! (thanks again if you’re reading this!). We were especially looking forward to catching up with Sam Vokes, one of our Burnley heroes and Colby Bishop who was an Accrington Stanley player and we got to chat to them after them game. We also met some Wycombe legends. Ex managers Graham Carr and Clive Walker and ex players Steve Phillips and Steve Massey as well as the current, very cool, Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth and Talk Sport host Ian Abrahams aka Moose! It was a 2-0 home win which helped keep spirits high for our fundraising for Oxford Children’s Hospital.
